Promoting Groups are the backbone of NEAT. We would not be able to bring events to communities without them. If you are interested in becoming a Promoting Group, here’s what you will need and what we can do to assist you.

Promoting Groups must be a constituted group, organisation, or association, e.g., village hall committee, arts group, or charitable organisation.

Groups must have a bank account for their organisation. Money will not be paid into a Volunteer Promoter’s personal bank account.

Each Group must appoint a Lead Volunteer Promoter who will be our main point of contact and should respond in good time to any requests.

The Lead Volunteer should ensure they have enough volunteers to support the delivery of an event. For example, distributing posters and flyers, setting up the venue and front-of-house duties, refreshments, etc.

Promoting Groups must be enthusiastic advocates for NEAT’s overall vision and aims.

Volunteers will also have access to training and development opportunities. These can be specific training events, e.g., marketing, social media, and licensing law.

Other development openings include opportunities to visit festivals, events, and networking sessions.
