Dod Morrison has been serving his local community in his mobile shop for decades. The 2020 lockdown has brought his retirement plans forward, until his former assistant Katrina pays him a visit.  She points out that deliveries are more essential than ever – time to get Morrison’s Van back on the road!

The original 4-part Morrison’s Van series was first released in 2011. Right Lines re-released all 4 episodes of this online radio comedy at the start of the 2020 coronavirus lockdown as the company’s response to the need for online entertainment.

This new stand-alone episode is set in current times and we were delighted that Ron Emslie and Helen Mackay agreed to revisit the roles of Dod and Katrina once again.  With the participants located across the UK – Herne Bay, Glasgow, Gorebridge, Tain and Alves –  Morrison’s Van – Lockdown was recorded via Zoom and post-prodution was undertaken by James Bryce, who also directed and edited the original series.

Music used in the show is by kind permission of Sandy Brechin, Brechin All Records – www.brechin-all-records.com

Morrison’s Van – Lockdown premiered on Saturday 20 June 2020.
