Clashnettie Arts Centre is a large bright art space remotely located on a hillside in rural Aberdeenshire. It is next to the home of sculptor Helen Denerley who enjoys the collaborative experience of a group of artists together. Next year it will be offering short term residencies but due to Covid 19 it is available for a longer let from August until Spring 2021.

Clashnettie is the perfect retreat for artists of any discipline except those who need fast broadband. The building comprises of a large communal studio living space downstairs with a piano and a small kitchen. Upstairs are two double and one small bedroom and bathroom. Nearby there is also a purpose- built painting studio available with a shower room. On the edge of a grouse moor and overlooking the Deskry water the views from the property are stunning.

This opportunity would suit an artist or a small group of artists with a collaborative project. There is every chance of being snowed in over the winter so a degree of independence is essential.
Monthly rent is £500 for the Arts Centre and £50 for the painting studio, excluding bills.
