Join a celebration of culture and community in the beautiful surrounds of Aden Country Park as young people bursting with energy and enthusiasm create an extravaganza of delight.
The Shell Fireworks Parade, now in its ninth year brings together and engages hundreds of participants from across Aberdeenshire, giving young people real and transferable skills and experiences as they create routines, props and performances for the big event.
This year the event will be themed round the work of the great teller of tales, Robert Louis Stevenson, who is best known for Treasure Island, Kidnapped and The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. This year’s event will be a celebration of his stories filling the woods with the characters and scenes from his books.
Aden-een is a youth regeneration project led by Modo in partnership with Shell, Aden Country Park, Buchan Development Parternership, Community Planning Partners and Aberdeenshire Council.
