Join OPEN ROAD for a series of Wee Blethers about the Bennachie area of North East Scotland and the stories, music and art this landscape inspires.

These Wee Blethers part of a wider community project called The Last People on Earth exploring the battle of Mons Graupius, a celebrated encounter between the Caledonians and the might of the Roman Empire as a moment in history to unearth the stories, songs and art rooted in a place. .

The Last People on Earth will bring together storytelling, original music and the latest archaeological discoveries to try and unearth a fragment of truth about a day nearly 2000 years ago that – arguably – shaped a nation.
