Celebrate amazing adventures and spectacular Cairngorms with a curated adventure film experience.
This year as part of the Cairngorms Nature Festival the Cairngorms National Park is running a Mountain Bothy Film Festival. At a select few remote bothies across the National Park, we will show mountain and adventure films using portable projectors and screens. We have just the answer for those who want to take part but don’t fancy the hike! This event is a special screening of the films on Friday 19 May at Glenlivet Public Hall. It’s free to attend but please book using the link above.
The films are a curated selection of mountain and adventure films lasting under an hour and a half. The films are of varying lengths and two or three are local to the Cairngorms with most of the rest set in Scotland.
This event is presented by Tomintoul and Glenlivet Development Trust, a community trust working for the benefit of the communities of Tomintoul, Glenlivet and the wider area. TGDT also partner with North East Arts Touring to bring live performances and film screenings to communities across the North East of Scotland.
