Aberdeen Arts Centre are looking for original stories up to 500 words based on the theme MAGIC!

These stories could quite literally be about potions, wands and spells, or you can encourage your little one to think about the magic all around us every day – family, our NHS heroes, or even the magic of baking a special cake together! The list is endless!

Illustrations, audio submissions or video submissions alongside the written entries are all encouraged. Stories will be judged by the Aberdeen Arts Centre team and spelling, grammar and punctuation will not be taken into consideration.

PRIZE

Runners Up: We’ll invite you to read your story/have your story read aloud by a professional performer at a Saturday Morning event in our Cafe/Bar with magical sweeties, soft drinks and games!

First Prize Winner: Alongside having their story read aloud, the First Prize Winner will also receive 4 Tickets to Harry Panto (17th/18th October 2020)! Find out more here: www.aberdeenartscentre.com/october

Entries should be attached to the email as a Word document in size 12 Arial font. Please include in the body of your email your child’s name, age and parent/guardian contact details.
