Safegaurding Young People

NEAT is committed to ensuring the welfare and safety of all children and young people that are part of our Young Promoter Scheme.

We believe that children and young people have a right to participate in a supportive, caring and safe environment which includes the right to protection from all types of abuse; where staff are vigilant for signs of distress and are confident about applying our safeguarding processes to avert and alleviate any such problems.

Safeguarding is about ensuring that everyone is safe from harm – safe from bullying, safe from people who could abuse, safe from discrimination or harassment – and that we all feel safe in our environment and communities.

If you are ever concerned about the safety or well‐being of someone who is a part of NEAT’s Young Promoter Scheme please contact Emyr Bell who is NEAT’s  Designated Child Protection Officer on 01330 826525.

It’s a different kind of experience in terms of the arts. Not performing
but still being involved in a performance process in a good skill, plenty to learn and. I love theatre so getting more people, especially those who wouldn’t normally go, to see a live piece of drama is really exciting.
