Stories Of The Seasons From Ancient Greece

Sunday 8 December 2019 @ 2:00 pm

Lumsden Village Hall CHRISTMAS PARTY

Sunday 8 December 2019

Puppet Anima

Suitable 3+

As the cold winds of winter arrive, join Carolyne and her friendly little dog on a storytelling journey back in time to discover the stories behind the seasons, from the early mythology of ancient Greece. Bring your family to forecast the weather with one of the very first scientists, go on adventures with magic and monsters, and hear one of the oldest stories of how the seasons came to be. Come for a fun and gentle introduction to the wonders of the ancient world through interactive storytelling with soft hand puppets.

A lifelong love of puppetry in combination with university studies in Classics inspire Carolyne to capture the imagination of young children, through stories from ancient civilisations and mythology, from her Edinburgh International Book Festival debut to productions for Edinburgh International Science Festival and Puppet Animation Festival among other events.

“Carolyne creates a quiet, almost magical atmosphere.” Sylvia Troon, storyteller & puppeteer
