A Young Promoters Event (organised by local young promoters)

Once upon a time, approximately twenty years from now, Yorick stands alone, suited up and ready to blast off in a rocket on his celebrated journey to Mars.

Winner of the 2018 CATS Award – Best Production for Children and Young People

Space Ape is an award-winning science fiction storytelling performance for the whole family that will take you on a journey through art, science, and philosophy, and on a mission with a very special Ape.  Andy Cannon, Scotland’s leading storyteller for young audiences, tells the tale, sharing his passion for space travel, using everyday objects and animation.

Space Ape was originally created with support from Creative Scotland and The Edinburgh International Science Festival Thanks to Imaginate and Magnetic North for early development.
