Finzean Home Farm Steading. It will be very cold. You will need to carry everything you need to keep
you warm, blankets, sleeping bags, hot water bottles, hats, gloves, torch and a thermos of hot drinks.

On arrival you will be met by the Roman guard and processed, bring your pre bought ticket number with
you. (NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD on the door) There will be some paperwork to complete before you will
be allowed to continue on your journey. Seating will be on straw bales and open to the sky. There will
be live animals. If this sounds like your idea of an adventure contact us now before tickets sell out. And
remember…..you will be going home to a cozy bed.

an outdoor nativity play
at Finzean Home Farm Steading AB31 6NG
on the 19 th and 20 th December

“alter:nativity” is an outdoor Nativity Play written and directed by Mel Shand and
performed, sung and played by over 75 members of the local community from Birse,
Ballogie, Finzean and Strachan. Inspired by the plight of the fleeing refugees Mel saw
the parallel with the original Christmas story. We have our own orchestra and choir,
known as the heavenly host and the audience will be invited to join in with familiar
songs. There are readings and meditations along with some marching shepherds, wise
woman and three kings – one of whom thinks he’s a queen, and of course a real donkey!

The performance begins at 7pm on Saturday, 19th December and at 4pm on Sunday,
20th December,

Tickets are £8 for adults, £4 conc. (senior citizens and children of school age) by
emailing [email protected] stating which performance and the number of
adult and concession tickets required.
