Smiles beam across the office as staff receive new I.T. equipment thanks to support and advice from Revolutionary I.T.

Ruth Thomson (Office Manager) said “Our old computers were becoming so slow that everyday tasks were taking a long time to complete”. These were mostly second hand computers from organisations who help small charities by providing low cost second hand equipment.  Ruth added “With a growing staff base and a need for remote working the only option was to purchase new equipment”.

NEAT approached Revolutionary I.T. for advice and Chris Brown (Director) was more than happy to help find the right equipment for the job. Chris said “This was a great opportunity to help a local charity who strives to promote theatre and film events for rural communities. I feel I’ve gained personally and professionally from this experience”.

Chris has over ten years experience in the I.T industry, ranging from fixing general hardware/software faults in domestic computers to setting up, installing and configuring domain servers with integrated exchange and many clients.

Emyr Bell (Executive Manager) said “It’s been great working with Chris, he’s given us what we needed and we haven’t experienced a single problem since the fit up.” NEAT have just introduced Office 365 and a SharePoint intranet so that staff can collaborate together and also work as efficiently from home or when away from the office. Emyr added “Having the ability to access documents on the move or from home means staff can adopt much more flexible working patterns and this leads to greater job satisfaction and productivity”.  Karelia Wright (Project Coordinator) works one day a week from home and added “I love my new laptop, which gives me the freedom to work from home and when I get to the office I plug in my new docking station and hey presto I have a keyboard and two large screens!”
